Service Description
There are two class 4 designations in British Columbia, allowing drivers to operate passenger vehicles under restricted or unrestricted licence parameters. Both licenses are focused on the safe transportation of people and require the same elevated level of skill and competency. How many passengers you plan to transport will determine whether a restricted or unrestricted class 4 licence is the right choice for you. Restricted class 4 drivers may transport up to 10 passengers (including the driver) in vehicles such as: taxis and limousines, ambulances, or shuttle vehicles. With ride hailing services now available in BC, a class 4 restricted licence will be needed to become a driver for companies such as Lyft. Tip Top Driving School’s class 4 Restricted Program includes one-on-one on-road time and pre-trip inspection training in your passenger vehicle or ours. We will cover all the required skills needed to successfully complete the ICBC restricted class 4 road test.
Cancellation Policy
Payment can be made in advance after booking lessons or just after the lesson that same day. INTERAC e-Transfer or cash is accepted. Please send e-Transfer to tiptopdriving@gmail.com. Students must carry their licence at all times during training. Passengers may be allowed, discuss details with instructor before lesson begins. A fee of $20 for 60 min lesson or $25 for 90 min lesson. We do not offer refunds for lessons that are already completed. If you have prepaid and wish to discontinue, we will refund. When students ask for a refund our school will give the full amount less a $15 fee for administration time. Students must give the school 12 hours notice if cancelling a lesson in order to get a refund or reschedule another session instead. All prices include 5% GST.
